A California native, Ms. Patel graduated from University of California at San Diego and then ventured to the East Coast and graduated with a law degree from Brooklyn Law School. She then returned to her home state to begin practicing law in 2004. During her first decade of practice, she gained valuable experience working with several prestigious law firms in the Orange County and Los Angeles areas. Ms. Patel practiced civil litigation and represented clients ranging from multi-national corporations to real estate companies to single individuals. More recently, Ms. Patel has focused on helping her clients build and review comprehensive estate plans to protect themselves, their assets, and their loved ones.

In addition to her expertise, Ms. Patel offers clients referrals to her extensive professional network which includes financial planners, CPAs, real estate agents, and other outstanding professionals. As a solo practitioner, you will be working directly with Ms. Patel and you will experience the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your affairs are in the hands of someone with impeccable legal expertise, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Masumi lives with her husband and two young boys. In her spare time, she likes to take dance classes, travel, and experience new culinary adventures.

My Approach

In practicing law for over 20 years, I’ve realized that clients at big firms often do not receive adequate individual attention. What I love about practicing law is having the opportunity to take care of people and develop a long term relationship with them. As a solo practitioner, I get to know each of my clients and help them achieve peace of mind with a custom plan that protects them, their assets, and their loved ones.
